Alex Kokach

Alex joined Dewart Gleason in 2018 after articling at the Toronto office of an international law firm. His practice focuses on civil litigation and advocacy on behalf of unions.

Alex completed his law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School, where he was a caseworker in the employment law division of the Community & Legal Aid Services Programme. While at Osgoode, Alex also assisted Professor Alan Young with a constitutional challenge to mandatory minimum sentencing, worked with Amnesty International to advocate on behalf of indigenous groups in mining conflicts and assisted with major litigation concerning legacy refugee claimants.
